Jennifer Baucom

Jennifer currently serves as the Estates and Trust Administration Paralegal for Heritage Law and is based primarily in the Gastonia office.

Jennifer joined Heritage Law in March 2023 after over ten years in the Clerk of Court’s office in Lincoln County.  In the Clerk of Court’s office, Jennifer closed out her career as an Assistant Clerk managing the Estates and Special Proceedings department of the Lincoln County Clerk of Court’s office.  There, Jennifer oversaw the department responsible for providing court oversight for all estates in Lincoln County, including auditing all estate administration filings, ensuring the proper administration of estate assets.  She served as a probate judge conducting hearings related to all estate matters.  She also conducted incompetency adjudication hearings, guardianship hearings, and foreclosure hearings. During her time in the Clerk’s office, Jennifer and Attorney Simmons worked together in the Estates and Special Proceedings department. 

Prior to her career in the Clerk’s office, Jennifer worked at the Lincoln County Department of Social Services in the Family and Children’s Medicaid department.

Jennifer is married to David, a CNC machinist at AB Carter in Gastonia.  David and Jennifer have two children, Kameron and Kaylyn.  Kameron is currently a student at CPCC in the diesel mechanic program.  Kaylyn loves to dance and compete with her dance family.  When Jennifer is not working, she loves spending time with her family and camping.
